Description of activities carried out

The first step of our works fas been To select successful agribusiness companies and ask disposability to involve in the project (interviews and lesson). Then we have identified entrepreneurs to interview and assign to each companies a module.
After this step the companies member of Agire were selected and contacted to ask a willingness to involve in lessons and inteviews. For each lesson, was assigned a module to company taking into account the coherence of their activities.
For Agire the principal step in this project was carried out 10 video lesson and 10 viedo-interviews to ten entrepeneurs active in the food sector, During February, March, April and May we made interviews, translated into English, made subtitles and uploaded videos on the portal of the project.
The interview addressed to the managers of the agri-food industry focused on the following topics:
- personal and professional history.
- personal education and training.
-the specific profiles they need to manage their business (emphasizing the importance of vocational education and training).
-the personal characteristics and skills they are looking when selecting their staff.
Video lessons have been divided into the following theme modules:
-Business budget.
- Product and process technology.
- Food safety and quality control.
- Market segmentation process.
-Web marketing and online communication strategies.
-Agricultural products: sales and distribution.
-The optimization of supply and reduction of food waste.
-Team Building.
-Start-up and business planning.
For each video lesson, the level of knowledge, skills and competences expected have been reported in the on line portal.
