Objectives of activities carried out
-To prepare informative materials on and for the project
-To identify companies, project associated partners and VET providers willing to participate in the project and to involve them in the project activities
- To familiarize the participants with the context, aims, objectives and the expected results of the project,
-To coordinate project activities
- To supply technical equipment for the project needs,
-To coordinate the filming activities,
-To disseminate the filming activities through posts uploaded on Facebook
-To multiply the Intellectual Outputs created within the IWBLabs project,
-To assess the project results,
-To involve traineeship providers in a training course and coordinate their participation
Description of activities carried out
A presentation on LLU and a presentation on the IWBLabs project preparatory activities, carried out by the project team of LLU, were prepared for the 1st Project Meeting held on 15-16 December 2016 in Florence. The 1st project meeting was attended, and both presentations given. After this meeting, the project team of LLU was informed about the activities and the results of the meeting. The Financial Manual and the Project Manual were looked into by the project team members of LLU.
Successful companies were identified with the help of the associated partners .VET providers were chosen and contacted by telephone and emails .They were also visited to discuss the project activities and their role in the project. The template of the Participation Letter and the form for filling in the information on the institution were sent to the VET providers. Interview questions for company managers were developed and translated into English, and sent to project partners and associate partners for evaluation. An informative letter for the company managers was written in Latvian to describe the project: activities and gains which the companies will have due to their participation in the project. This letter was e-mailed to company managers and the associated project partners. The template of the Company Participation Letter and the Form for filling in Company Information were sent to the chosen companies. The Project Brochure on the context, aims, objectives and the expected results was translated from English into Latvian, it was sent to the Associated Partners and VET Providers. A professional video operator was hired for filming the E-learning video lessons. The program for the 2nd Project Meeting to be organized by LLU on 10-11 July 2017 was developed.
Arrangements were made for the purchase of a laptop and software for recording subtitles,
Arrangements were made with the company managers and project team members of LLU to make a schedule of filming (time, venue and duration),
An official contract with a transportation company was concluded for travelling to the filming venues,
Three extra companies that would be willing to participate in the filming were identified, and their role in the project was discussed,
Posts for Facebook were developed and uploaded.
Organization of Partners meeting (conference hall, coffee breaks, social events).
Dissemination of the project through posts uploaded on Facebook, dissemination of the project in companies.
Preparation of presentations for the 3rd meeting of the project partners.
A multiplying seminar for VET providers and company managers was organized.
Arrangements for the participants of LLU in the 5-day training course in Teramo were made.
Arrangements for the participation in the project meetings and final conference were made.
The testing and reviewing of the virtual platform, and templates of profiles of students and companies involved in the virtual traineeship, was coordinated.
Uploading project information in the project portal (reports on work in progress, video lessons and success stories, profiles of students- traineeship candidates and companies, assessment tools to be used for the validation of the virtual traineeship results, description of Best Practice dissemination event etc.) was coordinated.
The dissemination of the project events, conducted by the project team members, was coordinated.
The organization of informative meetings, to be conducted by traineeship tutors, aimed at informing traineeship candidates about the possibility to carry out international virtual traineeships, and how to use the virtual platform was coordinated.
A list of 30 companies to be involved in the project, a list of 10 successful companies to be filmed, interview questions for company managers, a list of 6 VET providers, a list of 14 Associate Partners, the Project Brochure in Latvian and the programme of the 2nd Project Meeting to be held on 10-11 July 2017 in Jelgava.

Presentations for the 3rd meeting of the project partners are prepared.
22 participants - VET providers and company managers, took part in the multiplying event on 27 April 2018 organized by the LLU project team.
5 VET providers were selected for the 5 -day training seminar to be held in Teramo, and documents were prepared.
Participation of 5 virtual traineeship tutors in the training activity in Teramo (09-13 July 2018). 5 Pp presentations on their institutions represented, as well on their international experiences in projects.
2 descriptions of the Best Practice dissemination events uploaded in the project portal.
9 descriptions of assessment tools for the validation of trainees’ skills, knowledge and competencies written and uploaded.
The virtual platform tested and reviewed by 7 experts.
116 traineeship candidates are trained to use the virtual platform.
5 Power Point presentations prepared by the project team members for the 4 project meetings.
The second ME event was organized, and it took place on 13 October 2018 at LLU .It was attended by 18 participants, 13 of them belonged to the focus group.
