It would be very difficult to understand the needs of customers without the market research. Therefore market research should be very serious. Besides, it is necessary to know who competitors are, understand current trends in the market and decide the methods of how to persuade customers to buy our product.
Everything depends on the research results. For example, Caramel Workshop has one product “caramels”, but it turns out that it is possible to sell caramels in various ways. Firstly, through retailing, then, personalised orders which comprise a large group of customers. Thirdly, tourism. Company invite tourists and introduce them with our product. The market research helps to find out customers’ needs and wants and promotes business development.
