Main Contents of the Interview
An interview with a founder and owner of the company, Ladislav Kelény, offers a short history of the development of the company with a focus on the expansion of the production. Kelpek is a company producing bread and pastery, using alternative way for products distribution suitable for small villages of eastern part of Slovakia. Mr. Keleny is speaking about his personal history, about start and development of their business and requirements and expectations from their future employees. He highlights his personal passion towards the bakery deriving from his experience in early childhood supported by his wife, who is also a baker. He further highlights the pitfalls and highlights of this work. While the job is very challenging considering it has to be done at night, at the same time, it is really rewarding for him to imagine his products to be at the Christmas table. In that sense, the future potential employees should be ready to undertake such a demanding time-table, be creative and innovative, while the company is ready to supplement the training or hire already trained people.
