3.1 Introduction
3.1.2 Objective of the Traineeship

The object of the internship is to acquire skills (digital) to the student and to evaluate and verify the potential of the guys. Companies can, through the training action put in place, test themselves to verify their ability to attract talents and to define a progression of internal career that can also meet the most interesting profiles. The object of the internship must therefore tend to give the company a positive image able to develop the student's abilities. It must present the various phases of the business activity, from the core business to the auxiliary activities from the administration to the commercial activity, from the logistics to the production. On the other hand, the internship period must lead the student to discover his abilities by evaluating, with the support of company tutors, his own attitudes to the various positions present in the company. The internship must be able to underline the potential difficulties that the student can face against both in terms of technical preparation and, above all, in relation to workloads and interpersonal relationships. Let's think about how important it is for the trainee to attend a business meeting where different positions are compared.

The participation at the meeting helps the intern to understand how to manage the relationships among the different people of the team, how to conduct a business meeting and finally also increases his self-esteem. The aim of the training is to transfer technical notions that allow the student to grow professionally and non-formal teachings that make him aware of the human relationships that are created in a workplace. The latter aspect must be carefully evaluated. In many cases, companies do not want to make their strengths known to potential future collaborators. They could leave after only a few months. In this way, to protect their industrial secrets, companies do not allow the realization of internships in some business areas. This aspect represents a limit and could be overcome through the signing of agreements between the company and the student. These agreements must protect the company in compliance with industrial secrecy and allow the student to have access to knowledge capable of improving his preparation.
