Objectives of activities carried out
- to create Guidelines and Operative Tools for Students facilitating the organization of international virtual traineeships
Description of activities carried out
Scientific literature was identified and reviewed for the purpose of developing guidelines.
The Guidelines were drafted in English, edited and reviewed by the project team member of LLU.
Academic staff members of the Language centre of LLU were asked to review the Guidelines in English.
Further, the Guidelines in English were tested in training seminars for students conducted by the English teachers of the Language centre of LLU.
After the reviewing, the Guidelines were tested in seminars with 1st and 2nd year students of the Faculty of Food Technology, LLU.
The final version of the Guidelines for students was prepared.
They were sent to the project partners for reviewing.
The Guidelines for Students were shortened from 50 pages to 30 pages and translated into Latvian.
The translated Guidelines were uploaded in the project portal.
The Guidelines for VET Providers, Company Managers, and Policy Makers, created by the project partners from Italy, Spain and Slovakia, were translated. The fiirst draft was reviewed by the project team of LLU.
Results Achieved
The Guidelines and Operative Tools for Students (30 pages) in English have been created. They are uploaded in the project portal.
The Guidelines for Policy Makers, Guidelines for VET Providers and Guidelines for Company have been translated. from English into Latvian The translations were edited and proofread.
The final version of the Guidelines, created by the project partners and translated into Latvian, is uploaded on the project portal.
English teachers and students use the Guidelines for updating their knowledge on Europass CV, , writing motivation letters, job interviews, remote working etc.
