Main Contents of the Interview
Farm Līgo was founded in 1989 at the time of Bresis farmers’ movement. Initially Jānis Vinters worked with his father and expanded the size of the farm from 15 ha to 30 ha. Now he works together with his brother with 2,000 ha. Jānis Vinters is responsible for the paperwork and planning. Planning and the work of an agronomist are on his shoulders. He is the director and agronomist in one person.
In Jānis Vinters opinion the result gives satisfaction. Certainly, the positive result gives the greatest satisfaction. The positive result does not mean only earnings in the bank account, but also farmers can see the result of our work in their fields.
