The documents that make your skills and qualifications clearly and easily understood in the EU and the EEA are:

  • The Europass Curriculum Vitae;

  • The Language Passport-a self-assessment tool for language skills and qualifications according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. It can be created online using the template and tutorials. The template, examples and instructions can also be downloaded;

  • The Passport of Digital Competences - a self- assessment grid;

  • The European Mobility that is issued after the international virtual traineeship or apprenticeship. It records the knowledge and skills acquired. It is completed by a VET provider in the country of origin and the traineeship provider from the host country. The partners can be schools, universities, lifelong learning centres, NGOs etc.

The steps to acquire certification are:

  1. Apply for the international virtual traineeship,

  2. Undergo screening of your documents done by the VET provider

  3. Complete the recommended training course,

  4. Undergo the matching process and get a placement,

  5. Complete the international virtual traineeship,

  6. Submit all the necessary documentation to the VET provider (scanned Time Sheets signed by the trainee, VET provider and traineeship provider, a scanned recommendation letter written by the traineeship provider, your digital Europass CV and Skills Passport updated after the traineeship completion).

  7. The VET provider’s representative (the digital tutor) fills in 2 copies of the certificate of traineeship completion and sends it to the traineeship provider for signature,

The VET provider countersigns both copies and files the electronic copy in the trainee’s personalized online Europass folder. The trainee receives a paper certificate and the electronic version.
